as a previous member of the Peele, i have to say that although new teachers might be changing the peele for the better i highly doubt it because that school can't even afford gas for practicals in food technology let alone new teachers. during my years at the Peele, i have been teased and bullied and no-one in the faculty did anything about it, which is quite disappointing when as a student you're supposed to be able to rely on the staff. plus when i was supposed to do food technology as a gcse's like I've stated above there was no gas paid for, for 6 months which means that i couldn't prepare for my gcse's which lead to me dropping out and going into an extra English and maths group. I've had so many problems with this school that i extremely doubt that it's going to get better for future students. so fair warning, if you attend this school, you will absolutely fail your gcse's.
Previous mismanagement has given this school a bad reputation, however a new head teacher has turned it completely around and the school is on its way up again. A big turnaround of staff recently hasn't gone down well with the locals but now the school seems to have a good selection of permanent teachers and fewer temporary.
